Photography has been a lifelong source of friendships and adventure for me and I have been honing my craft since I was a kid. I booked my first wedding when I was still in college at the age of 21 and 500+ weddings later I still get excited about every shoot. They are all opportunities to make new friends, explore new locations and share my creativity. I'm proud to be a full-time, professional photographer in Nashville. In addition to wedding photography I take on commercial, fashion, editorial, and portrait work with local clients ranging from The Grand Ole Opry, The Nashville Symphony, The Frist Center for the Visual Arts and national clients such as Pierce Manufacturing, AEG Live Events, and Health Magazine. My photos have appeared in Town & Country, The New York Times, Bust Magazine, Southern Bride, Garden & Gun, Rangefinder and they can be found in the homes of many of Nashville's most interesting and talented people.
Aside from photography, I enjoy taking my 11 year old daughter Sophia on bike rides and reading her chapters of Harry Potter before her bed time. Traveling with my wife Samantha, tennis with my dad, playing my cello, mandolin, guitars, and writing songs. I love any excuse to get together with friends around camp fires, kayaks, ski slopes, and craft beer. Even though I love recording music and making beats, I mostly listen to audiobooks and comedy while I'm editing photos. This year I turned 40 and my mid-life crisis has included joining adult softball and soccer leagues and doing a daily cross-fit workout but no new sports car for me.
